J. Phillip Holloman is President and Chief Operating Officer of Cintas Corporation. Mr. Holloman is one of Black Enterprise magazine’s “100 most powerful executives” for 2009. The magazine said it chose the 100 African-American executives based on their ability to drive major change in their respective companies. Mr. Holloman was promoted to president and COO in January 2008. His major accomplishment, according to Black Enterprise , was turning the company’s rental division, which was losing money, into a profit-maker.

Mr. Holloman joined Cintas in 1996 and has served in various positions including Vice President – Engineering/Construction from 1996 to 2000, Vice President – Distribution/Production Planning from 2000 to 2003, Executive Champion of Six Sigma Initiatives from 2003 to 2005 and most recently, Sr. Vice President – Global Supply Chain Management from 2005 until his recent promotion to President and COO.

As Vice President of Engineering/Construction, Mr. Holloman and his team built 37 new Cintas rental processing facilities and standardized the utilization of automated processing equipment systems. He also implemented a process that reduced the time it took to achieve target operating efficiency by 75 percent.

As Vice President – Distribution/Production Planning, Mr. Holloman and his team, using Six Sigma methodologies, improved profit, service levels and internal customer satisfaction while reducing inventory levels.

In August 2007, Mr. Holloman received the Cintas Excalibur Award, the highest award reserved for business executives who demonstrate excellence during their tenure with the company. He also helped to establish the diversity initiative at Cintas and sits on the company’s Diversity Committee.

Mr. Holloman holds a B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He serves on the Florida A&M School of Business and Industry Advisory Council and is a board member-elect of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati.

Mark Kent is Market Vice President for Medicare Operations at Humana. In this role, Mark is responsible for leading market operations and for positioning Humana for growth in the state of Ohio across its Medicare products. Prior to assuming this position, Mark, being a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, led a team of over two hundred and ten associates to successfully develop, produce, and distribute Humana’s Medicare sales and marketing material serving 15,000 agents, across 1,700 locations in 50 states. This year long effort helped Humana to realize its best sales and revenue years ever in its history, and the processes are still in place today. Prior to joining Humana Mark was a successful entrepreneur of two companies.

Mark has written and published several articles on organizational behavior and healthcare management, is a frequent speaker on health care matters, and has served on the boards of several local and national charities. Additionally, Mark founded the Foster Children’s United Society, a not-for-profit foundation in Florida which assists foster children throughout the state.

Mark earned an MBA from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, graduating with highest honors.

Dr. Janet B. Reid is a Managing Partner of Global Novations. She is a proven leader in developing and implementing successful leadership; diversity/inclusion; marketing; teambuilding; and strategic change initiatives in major corporations. Her particular expertise is in shaping corporate strategy and developing quantitative and qualitative measures of bottom line benefits. She has also been a consultant and coach to numerous top executives and is often a keynote presenter on the subject of women in corporate America and issues of globalization, diversity/inclusion and organizational development within corporations, at national and international conferences and meetings. Dr. Reid has worked with Global Lead in numerous countries across the continents of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. One of her areas of expertise is China and developing effective leadership strategies for U.S. companies doing business there. Her prior professional experience includes 10 years at Procter & Gamble where she held a series of progressively more responsible positions including research chemist, section head, and brand manager. Dr. Reid earned a Ph.D. in BioInorganic Chemistry from Howard University in 1979 and is the co-author of numerous technical papers in refereed journals.

Dr. Reid is widely quoted and her opinions regarding organizational structure, career development, diversity/inclusion and globalization have appeared in: Time; Fortune; the Associated Press; Black Enterprise; ESSENCE; the Chicago Tribune; DiversityInc; PR Week; CareerJournal.com; Investor’s Business Daily; TheStreet.com; Cincinnati Enquirer; Cincinnati Business Courier; Essence Magazine; and others. With Vincent Randolph Brown, she co-authored the book: The Phoenix Principles: Leveraging Inclusion to Transform Your Company.

At Global Novations (formerly Global Lead Management Consulting), her client base includes well recognized corporations such as: PepsiCo; Procter & Gamble; Microsoft; Nestle; Disney; Limited Brands (Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret); Luxottica Retail (LensCrafters, Sun Glass Hut, Pearle Vision); S.C. Johnson; Harrah’s Entertainment; and others. With Global Lead, her diversity-related solutions have resulted in clients: being listed as one of the best places to work by Working Mother magazine, winning the Catalyst Award for the Advancement of Women, being cited in DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity, and more. Dr. Reid’s extensive board service includes being the first woman and first person of color to be Chair of the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. She is a trustee of Xavier University in Cincinnati and has been newly appointed to The Ohio State University board of trustees by Governor Strickland to serve a nine-year term. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Catholic Healthcare Partners, Inc.; The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Cincinnati Branch; the Collaborative Law Institute; and a Minority Shareholder of the Cincinnati Reds.

She has earned many honors and awards, including being named: one of the Cincinnati Enquirer's Women of the Year; a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement; a Speaking of Women's Health National Honoree; a member of Leadership Cincinnati Class 16; the Leading Women’s Entrepreneur's Award; Procter & Gamble Product Development's Pioneering Black Woman Award; one of Deloitte & Touch’s 100 Wise Women, and many more.

As leader of P&G’s Global Diversity Strategy, Linda is responsible for ensuring our employee community reflects the diversity of the consumers we serve. She also leads efforts to ensure that diversity and inclusion is in imbedded in all we do, enabling employees to contribute more fully and providing P&G with competitive advantage.

In her Global Business Services (GBS) role, Linda is responsible for designing a best-in-class employee and workplace experience that helps P&G people work simpler, faster and with greater agility. She also leads a new concept organization to flow resources to P&G most important business priorities and she is responsible for the overall relationship framework with GBS’ external suppliers.

Linda joined P&G as in 1983 as a systems analyst and went on to hold global leadership roles across a multitude of disciplines. Experiences include: the creation of the first vision and strategy for P&G’s email system, leadership of the partnership with Hewlett-Packard to provide core IT services, and delivery of a broad range of business and employee services to CEEMEA, a diverse and dynamic business spanning 114 countries.

Linda received a B.S.I.M in Industrial Management and Computer Science from Purdue University. She has served on a number of advisory boards including: Cincinnati Financial Board of Directors, Conference Board - Council of Chief Information Officers, IT Senior Management Forum, National Urban League, Jack & Jill of America, Cincinnati Black Data Processing Organization, Victory Neighborhood Services Board of Directors, and 4C (Comprehensive Community Child Care) Board of Directors.
